The Clyde Low Clearance (LC) Machine possesses all the attributes common across our product portfolio – but with its own unique features and capabilities.
Compact, light and mobile, the aluminium split-frame solution was specifically developed for factory and construction deployment, as well as non-subsea pipeline maintenance. The Clyde LC can be deployed on pipes ranging from 2″ to 48″ diameter and on materials ranging from carbon steel to ductile iron.
It cuts and bevels simultaneously – it has a proven track record in cutting inconel clad pipe – and can be pneumatically or hydraulically powered. The Clyde LC has a +/- 0.5mm welding preparation performance that meets the standards demanded in the automatic welding era – and eliminates the hidden costs of high weld failure rates.
