Following the acquisition of Francis Brown in 2024 and Whiteley Read in 2018, Glacier Energy operates out of two manufacturing facilities in Rotherham and Stockton-On-Tees, both of which are well-equipped, with the space, machinery and lifting equipment needed to build both large or complex fabrications for our growing customer base in carbon steel and non-ferrous materials.

This week we completed the installation of shaft casings manufactured by yourselves.
I would like to send our thanks for all of the efforts put in by you and your team in contributing to this success. Two of the lead drillers informed me that these were the best quality casings they had ever used. Given that they’ve sank hundreds of shafts between them, I think that is a real achievement.

Compliance By Design

Complying with industry standards is central to everything we do. With years of experience working in the industry, we understand that every part of the fabrication process must be in full accordance with the most stringent industry guidelines.

We are accredited to BS EN ISO 3834 & BSEN 1090 Execution Class 3 and regularly manufacture bespoke ‘build to print’ fabrications in accordance with various well-recognised industry standard codes.

Glacier Energy has also achieved Fit for Hydrogen (F4H2) and Fit For Carbon Capture, Usage, and Storage (F4CCUS) status. These accreditations are part of the Fit 4 model of supply chain development acts as a strong testament of our capability.
