Glacier Energy, a leading international provider of specialist products, services and engineering solutions for energy infrastructure, has appointed Mark Finnie as Operations Manager & Technical Authority within its Inspection Services division.
Mark, who has over 18 years' experience specialising in non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques and services, started his career as an NDT Technician at Professional Testing Services (PTS), which was acquired by Glacier Energy in 2014.
Since, he has held various other senior technical, operational and project management roles across the oil & gas and renewables energy sector and prior to joining Glacier Energy worked as an NDT Technical Manager for Bilfinger Salamis.
Commenting on Mark's appointment, Tom Gollan, Director of Glacier Energy's Inspection Services division, said: "We are delighted to have Mark on board as he brings with him a wealth of experience that will supplement the knowledge and expertise of our existing and highly specialised technical teams.
